Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Modeling Specialist to join our dynamic research and development team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in chemical modeling techniques, including FactSage and molecular dynamics simulations, with a specific focus on plasma- and gas-based processes for silicon and silane production. This role involves conducting advanced simulations to optimize reactor designs and processes, contributing to our goal of revolutionizing silicon production.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement chemical models for hydrogen plasma interactions in silicon production using FactSage and molecular dynamics simulations.
Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate chemical models into multi-physics and multi-scale simulation frameworks.
Utilize AI-driven methodologies for optimizing reactor design and process parameters, with a focus on achieving high-purity silicon output.
Analyze simulation data to understand plasma-material interactions, thermodynamics, and kinetics in the reactor environment.
Participate in the design and execution of experimental validations for simulation models.
Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of silicon production processes.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chemical modeling, plasma physics, and material science related to silicon production.

Desired Experience and Skills:
Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Plasma Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in chemical modeling, particularly with FactSage and molecular dynamics simulations.
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, kinetics, and plasma-material interactions.
Experience with multi-physics simulation tools and AI-driven optimization methodologies is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and computational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.
